Baeng comes into the arena with UGK - Wood Wheel blaring out of the sound system. Thompson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Warning Shots By: Cyssero kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvaski fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hearted looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hearted shoots in for a takedown but Silvaski shows good takedown defense.

Larson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Macintye wants to control but Larson postures up.
Macintye is looking for a sweep.
Macintye is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Larson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Larson controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Larson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Macintye sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
