The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augustus shoots in looking for a takedown. Magnum tries to sprawl out of it but Augustus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Magnum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Augustus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magnum's waist but Magnum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Augustus off to one side.

Augustus has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hogan has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hogan wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.

I really don't envy Hogan right now.

Hogan defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Augustus's arms.
Hogan manages to reverse the position and now he's in Augustus's guard. Nice work there by Hogan.
Hogan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hogan wants to pass the guard but Augustus is keeping the position.

Hogan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hogan tries to free his leg and advance position but Augustus is retaining full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
