The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger misses with a body shot.
Don Guido tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tiger paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Don Guido ducks under a wild hook from Tiger.
John Tiger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Don Guido showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tiger.

Don Guido closes the distance and clinches.
Don Guido tries to pull guard but Tiger holds him up against the cage and eventually Don Guido drops back down to his feet.

Tiger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Don Guido changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tiger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Tiger is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Tiger is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Don Guido couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chavez.

Chavez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Stratton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chavez.

Stratton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Stratton wants to stand but Chavez is controlling his posture from full guard.
Stratton stops Chavez from standing up.
Stratton advances to half guard.
Chavez is pressing down on Stratton's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Chavez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Stratton works his way to full guard. Good work.

Stratton slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Stratton is working to tighten is grip on Chavez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Chavez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Stratton is really squeezing tight and eventually Chavez passes out! Stratton breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

I think Paul might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Omerta. Carlos The Animal told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one!
