Lai closes the distance and clinches up with Hulmurinta, looking for a takedown. Lai pushes Hulmurinta against the cage but Hulmurinta circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Koskinen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Asters gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Koskinen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Asters is one step ahead there.
Koskinen controls Asters momentarily but Asters frees himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Asters is looking to work some ground and pound but Koskinen has wrist control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Koskinen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Asters can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Koskinen looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Asters is defending well. Koskinen quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Asters has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Koskinen celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mikael Koskinen!

Esinahka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Joe tries to land a leg kick but Esinahka saw it coming and moves away.
Joe thuds a left hand into Esinahka's body.
Esinahka tries to close the distance and clinch but Joe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A chopping leg kick lands by Joe.
Esinahka looks gassed!
Esinahka chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Joe can pounce on him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Joe cracks a nice hook into Esinahka's ribs.
Joe misses with a double jab.
Joe stuffs the takedown attempt from Esinahka. Esinahka gets slowly back to his feet.
Joe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Joe tries to bum rush Esinahka with a series of wild strikes but Esinahka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Joe scores with the left hand. Esinahka knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Erkki Esinahka has been cut.
Bazooka Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bazooka Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erkki Esinahka.
Joe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Joe closes the distance and clinches.
Joe is pressed up against the cage. Esinahka has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Joe down to the mat. Joe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Joe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Joe! Esinahka is backing up but he can't get away as Joe lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Esinahka and ends the fight. Great knockout.
