Bradley had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Smith is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bradley Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Smith 's back instead.

Bradley is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Smith defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Smith rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Bradley has hold of Smith 's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Smith manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Smith defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bradley.

Bradley is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Smith is surviving well by controlling Bradley's body position as best he can.

Bradley is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Smith can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cung Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex pletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cung Le had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
