Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Chimpo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Vanderlaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chimpo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to comin to your city. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Viktor Vanderlaine!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimpo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vanderlaine as he avoids it easily.
Chimpo scores with a push kick.
Chimpo tries a low kick but Vanderlaine avoids it.

Chimpo has closed the distance and engaged Vanderlaine in a clinch.
Vanderlaine gets underhooks to prevent Chimpo's takedown attempt.

Chimpo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Vanderlaine can't fight it off and eventually Chimpo manages to take the fight to the floor. Vanderlaine looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Haas doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Haas has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Haas gets the takedown into side control.
Brown is not content to let Haas control the position.
Brown struggling a bit here.
Brown is looking to regain half guard here but Haas keeps moving and retains side control.

Haas tries for a kimura but Brown is defending well.
Haas scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Brown to see if he's OK.
Brown manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Brown wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haas has gone for a leg lock! Brown slips out almost immediately though and dives into Haas's guard.

Haas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brown keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Haas's head.
Brown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Brown thows a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brown distracts Haas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Haas is working an open guard so Brown takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Brown keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Haas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Haas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Brown throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Haas stumbling backwards into the cage! Haas bounces back off the cage towards Brown, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Brown lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Brown celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mordecai Brown! Mordecai Brown retains his welterweight title!
