The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hermiston lands a head shot.

Takatu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Takatu stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Hermiston tries to clinch up but Takatu circles away and keeps his distance.

and Hermiston counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Takatu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Takatu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hermiston tries to avoid it but Takatu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hermiston to the ground. Hermiston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

A head kick lands from Hermiston that sends Takatu to the canvas. Takatu tries to scramble back to his feet but Hermiston brings him back down into side control.

Harris throws a hook but Watanabe blocks it.
Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Harris tries to clinch there but Watanabe circles away.
Harris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Watanabe tries to avoid it but Harris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Watanabe to the ground. Watanabe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Evan Sherls will probably get the nod.
