The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moore shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nin's guard.
Moore sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Moore advances to half guard.

Moore is working for a kimura but Nin is defending it quite comfortably.
Moore seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Moore is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nin is just riding it out for now. Moore eventually gives up the hold.

Moore is trying to work for a kimura but Nin is defending well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nin looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moore uses his free foot to push down on Nin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nin.

Moore sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Nin tries to hold on but Moore postures up.

Moore swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Nin is now in Moore's guard. A big mistake from Moore there, giving up the dominant position!

Moore shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Moore was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Moore goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nin is on top in guard.
Moore wants to sweep but no luck.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Moore has his foot on Nin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nin works his way back into a safe position though.

Moore manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nin manages to get himself to full guard.

Rodney Moore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
