These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nutt's waist but Nutt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.
Nutt throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nutt throws a combination. Williams tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nutt lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Williams can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Nutt and Williams drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Nutt.

Smalls closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smalls lands in his opponent's guard.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Chestnut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trauma Vito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vito has chosen Clint Eastwood as his entrance music. Dustin Chestnut had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 137.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Rutger is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Phonics is hurt! He's hurt bad - Rutger fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Phonics from any more punishment! Congratulations to Rutger! Great finish!
