Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeff McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Rickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDaniel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is The Prodigy: Warrior's Dance. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDaniel scores with a takedown into Rickson's guard.
McDaniel wants to control from the top but Rickson keeps moving.
Rickson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rickson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McDaniel doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rickson.

Rickson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now McDaniel is on top in guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rickson can't keep his opponent in guard - McDaniel advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

McDaniel seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Rickson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Nottingham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Acton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nottingham comes to the cage accompanied by Bawitdaba-Kid Rock. Matt Nottingham had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.
