Holmes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Betlach slips a jab and a cross from Holmes.

Betlach clinches with his opponent.

Holmes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Holmes looks to land a combination but Betlach avoids it well.
Holmes misses with an uppercut. Betlach saw that one coming.
Holmes lands with a nice combination. Betlach backs away looking to recover.

Betlach fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Holmes, pushing him back against the cage.
Betlach pushes Holmes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Betlach content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Betlach lands with a short shot to the head.
Betlach lands a body shot.
Betlach lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Holmes.
Holmes wants to break free but Betlach has control.

Betlach is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
A right handed body shot lands from Betlach.
Betlach will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Holmes up against the cage.
Holmes tries to break the clinch but Betlach is controlling the position.

Holmes throws a series of punches but Betlach moves out of range.
JB Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holmes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Holmes misses with a head kick.
Betlach moves in looking to clinch but Holmes pushes him off.
Betlach connects with a good right hand that stumbles Holmes. Holmes circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Betlach scores with a one two! Holmes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like JB Holmes has been cut.

Holmes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Betlach knocks Holmes out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

LaCrosse stuffs the takedown attempt from Morte. Morte gets slowly back to his feet.

LaCrosse stands up out of the half guard.
Oh Morte is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mayo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Briagga is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
