A jab from Kuikka finds it's way through Jenkins's defenses.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

Jenkins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kuikka, pushing him back against the ropes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skallagrimsson is looking to chop away at Lapointe's legs.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Skallagrimsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lapointe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lapointe isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Skallagrimsson stacks Lapointe on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Skallagrimsson!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Skallagrimsson is on top in guard.

Lapointe looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Skallagrimsson has picked Lapointe up and slammed him! Lapointe can't keep hold of the triangle and Skallagrimsson manages to pass to side control!

Lapointe is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Skallagrimsson off and has taken his back!

Lapointe has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Skallagrimsson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Skallagrimsson is trying to defend against the choke here but Lapointe has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Lapointe Tightens the hold and Skallagrimsson taps out furiously! Lapointe displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Tykyraato gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Tykyraato tries to stand but Pakkanen is controlling from the bottom.

Tykyraato avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Tykyraato is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tykyraato would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Tykyraato must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Pakkanen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Tykyraato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pakkanen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tykyraato looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tykyraato feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tykyraato wanted to stand there but Pakkanen had control of the position.
Pakkanen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tykyraato gets back to half guard.
Tykyraato on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Pakkanen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Tykyraato is trying to get back to full guard.
Pakkanen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pakkanen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tykyraato has left one of his arms exposed and Pakkanen doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Tykyraato screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
