I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Thomas Jensen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goode connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jensen momentarily.
Goode throws a nice looking combination but Jensen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Goode will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Goode wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Goode is looking to clinch.

Jensen walks into a straight right hand from Goode.
Goode shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jensen as he jumps to the side.

Goode is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Jensen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Goode is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Goode flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jensen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Goode and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jensen slips an arm under Goode chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jensen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jensen is squeezing on Goode like an anaconda would it's prey. Goode fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Cotto throws a big shot that misses.
Leroy moves out of range as Cotto strikes.
Cotto listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Cotto throws a right and a left that Leroy avoids nicely.
Leroy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cotto throws a shot from downtown. Leroy moves away and avoids it.
Cotto slips a jab and a cross from Leroy.

Leroy drives through with a takedown into guard.
Leroy is pushing down on Cotto's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cotto is fighting to maintain full guard but Leroy has managed to sneak the leg through.

Leroy looking to control but Cotto is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Cotto is wriggling around trying to escape.

Cotto defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Leroy.
Leroy throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cotto because Leroy loaded up on that one.

Cotto is trying to escape the mount but Leroy keeps good control and instead manages to take Cotto's back.

Leroy has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cotto has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Leroy looks to score with a jab to the body but Cotto is just out of range.

Cotto wants to stand and escape but Leroy is having none of it.

Cotto might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Leroy wants to take a breather but Cotto is having none of it.
Cotto regains full guard. Nicely done.
Cotto is trying to keep Leroy in close.

Leroy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cotto manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Leroy has Cotto in his guard.

Leroy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cotto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Leroy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cotto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Leroy lets go of the hold and Cotto can pop his arm back in it's socket.

LaMotta does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
LaMotta tries to bum rush Meadows with a series of wild strikes but Meadows uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
LaMotta lands a jab to the nose.
Donk. Meadows catches LaMotta right on the button with a cross.
LaMotta lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
LaMotta throws a lazy right hand but Meadows sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
LaMotta tests Meadows's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Meadows has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Meadows there as he acknowledges the shot.

LaMotta fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Meadows looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Meadows on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
LaMotta throws a solid leg kick but Meadows takes the impact on his shin and smiles at LaMotta.
LaMotta takes a jab right on the kisser.
LaMotta lands a right hook to the body.
Meadows avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Meadows has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from LaMotta finds it's way round the side to connect with Meadows's head.
LaMotta dips to his left and cracks Meadows with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A solid leg kick lands there for LaMotta.
Meadows looks gassed!
The crowd cheers as LaMotta lands an impressive looking overhand right. Meadows doesn't seem phased though.
Meadows takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
