The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bachida throws a right and a left that Gustaffson avoids nicely.
Gustaffson misses the shot to the body.
Bachida doesn't manage to clinch there - Gustaffson circles away.
Gustaffson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bachida's waist but Bachida gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gustaffson off to one side.
Bachida misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hyoto Bachida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gustaffson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bachida gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gustaffson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bachida wants to get up but he can't break Gustaffson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gustaffson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bachida gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gustaffson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bachida rolls with it to try and escape but Gustaffson cranks on the arm and Bachida is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fightmaster, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
