Curtis James struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

James keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

James shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in SilvA's guard.

James drops back looking for a leg! SilvA is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and SilvA manages to kick James off! James jumps back into SilvA's guard.

Harper shoots in and bounces Karlsson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Karlsson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Karlsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Karlsson has his foot on Harper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harper works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daisu Miyagi will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daisu Miyagi.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miyagi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Lao bounces back off the cage towards Pappas, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Pappas lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Pappas celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
