The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazuhide stuffs the takedown attempt from Stevens. Stevens gets slowly back to his feet.
Stevens takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kazuhide looks to land a combination but Stevens avoids it well.

Stevens drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kazuhide manages to work his way to half guard, despite Stevens's best efforts.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stevens wants to advance to full mount but Kazuhide doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Kazuhide on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kazuhide tries to get out of the position.
