Filo manages to get his head free but now French has transitioned to an armbar! Filo grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from French! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Moore is pressed up against the cage. Lesnar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Moore down to the mat. Moore avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

MacLeod throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Graham's waist but Graham gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing MacLeod off to one side.

I think Kurosawa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to War drums. Akira Kurosawa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Akira Kurosawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Demarcus Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kurosawa rushes Jackson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kurosawa jumps into guard, dragging Jackson to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson trying to control but Kurosawa is working from the bottom.
Jackson won't allow Kurosawa to sweep him here.
Jackson throwing strikes from guard but Kurosawa blocks nicely.

Kurosawa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kurosawa keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass.
Jackson throws a big right hand that misses.

Kurosawa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jackson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kurosawa's guard.

Kurosawa wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.
Kurosawa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jackson's guard.
Kurosawa slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jackson sneaks back into half guard.
Jackson is looking to improve his position.
Kurosawa is thwarting Jackson's attempts to control the position.
Jackson tries to get to full guard but Kurosawa has control of the leg.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jackson gets back to full guard.

Jackson trying to keep a closed guard but Kurosawa is proving a slippery customer.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kurosawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jackson can't keep his opponent in guard - Kurosawa advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Kurosawa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jackson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kurosawa.

Jackson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jackson tries to lock up and control but Kurosawa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kurosawa is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jackson is surviving well by controlling Kurosawa's body position as best he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kurosawa takes Jackson's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Jackson is in trouble.
Kurosawa is not going to allow Jackson to sit and survive in this position.
Jackson tries to escape but Kurosawa has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Kurosawa lands shots from the back.
Kurosawa is trying to stick to Jackson's back but Jackson is turning into Kurosawa. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kurosawa's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jackson.
Kurosawa has momentary wrist control but Jackson slips an elbow through the middle.

Kurosawa is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jackson frees his head nicely. Oh but Kurosawa has switched to an armbar! Jackson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Infamous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Comte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Infamous's entrance music is Maino - All The Above. A fine choice. Comte has chosen Laser life by Blood Brothers as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Infamous misses with a straight left.
Comte missing with a left hand there. Infamous was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Infamous is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Comte.
Infamous throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Comte sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Comte misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Comte moves out of range of the strikes.
Infamous misses with the combination.
Nice combo by Infamous! Oh, that's hurt him - Comte falls to the canvas and Infamous follows him into side control.

Comte is rocked!

It looks like Boxing Comte has been cut.
Infamous grinds an elbow into Comte's temple.
Infamous tries to move into full mount but can't pass Comte's legs.
Infamous really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Infamous looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Infamous wants to control but Comte is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Infamous tries to move to mount but Comte blocks the move with his legs.

Infamous is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Comte is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Infamous is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Comte knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Infamous will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Comte tries to improve position but can't.
Comte really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Infamous. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Infamous thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Comte is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Nice defenses there by Infamous.
Comte misses with a straight right.
Boxing Comte is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Comte throws a hook to the side of Infamous's head but Infamous sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Infamous steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Comte.
Comte finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Comte misses with a looping left.
Comte throws a right and a left that Infamous avoids nicely.

and Infamous counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boxing Comte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Infamous looks for a takedown but Comte sprawls well.
Infamous lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Comte at a distance.
Comte will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Infamous throws a hook but Comte avoids it easily.
Infamous throws out a loose jab but Comte uses good head movement to avoid it.
Comte throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Comte swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Infamous connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Comte! He's out on his feet! Infamous rushes in and drops Comte with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
