Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yashima Hanko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Lisbon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hanko rushes Lisbon and presses him up against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaspar has managed to clinch.
PG Master fails to pull the fight into his guard.
PG Master tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Gaspar has dropped down and is working for a takedown. PG Master is trying to keep an underhook but Gaspar manages to get the takedown into half guard.
PG Master is not content to let Gaspar control the position.
PG Master tries to kick Gaspar off but Gaspar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gaspar wants to pass the guard but PG Master is keeping the position.

PG Master throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Gaspar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gaspar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

PG Master has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rain misses with a takedown attempt - Grande sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Choio Grande seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grande feints and as Rain raises his hands in defense, Grande changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Grande distracts Rain with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Grande drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rain looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rain looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rain!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rain tries to reverse the position but Grande maintains control.

Grande has hold of Rain's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rain manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Rain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grande on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Grande is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rain is surviving well by controlling Grande's body position as best he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Choio Grande will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
