The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KillMeNow stuffs the takedown attempt from DANA. DANA gets slowly back to his feet.
KillMeNow looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
DANA changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. KillMeNow tries to avoid it but DANA manages to keep hold of a leg and drag KillMeNow to the ground. KillMeNow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
KillMeNow tries to close the distance and clinch but DANA swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
KillMeNow tries for a takedown but DANA sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
DANA shoots for a double leg takedown but KillMeNow sprawls well. He's pushed DANA's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rogers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Rogers stands up over Spun, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rogers's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Spun manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Spun feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rogers sprawling to the canvas! Rogers rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Spun finish him?!

Rogers could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
