Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Riessig Slade!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quik Yin!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slade tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yin throws a hook but Slade blocks it.
A punch lands to the side of Slade 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Slade feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Yin's calf.
Slade takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Quik Yin has been cut.

Yin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Yin trying to control but Slade is having none of it.

Yin goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Slade is on top in guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Slade wants to stand but Yin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Yin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Slade stacks Yin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Slade!
Slade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yin on the ground.
Slade is staying tight to Yin's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Slade tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Yin is looking to reverse the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Slade moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Nice takedown defense from Slade. No joy for Yin on that attempt.
Yin shoots in and drives through. Slade sprawls well.
Yin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Yin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Riessig Slade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quik Yin.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Slade, right into the meat.
Yin looks gassed!
Slade dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Slade throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Yin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Slade moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Yin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Yin moves forwards but Slade connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Yin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Slade is looking to wear down Yin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A clash of legs there as Yin blocks the low kick.
Slade misses with a looping left.
Slade ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Slade.
Yin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Slade.
Slade shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Riessig Slade dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Yin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Yin checks a leg kick.
Slade lands a nice looking body shot.
Slade misses with a wild body shot.
Slade throws an overhand right that lands on Yin's shoulder, as Yin tries to avoid the shot.
Riessig Slade is winning the standup battle so far.
Yin misses with a series of wild punches.
Slade takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A swing and a miss from Slade.
Yin checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Yin is breathing heavily.

Slade throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Slade scores with a sloppy right hand. Yin should have avoided that one.
Slade tests Yin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yin needs to keep his hands up - Slade had a free shot at his head there.

Yin is rocked!
Slade fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Yin square on the jaw! Damn, Yin is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
