I think Paiva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Your Death. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Paiva stalks Alves and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Alves's face. Alves staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Igor Alves has been cut.
Paiva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Paiva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason David Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Frank comes to the cage accompanied by Go Go Power Rangers. Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Born To Win kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gracie is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! David Frank is forced to tap! Great finish!

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Pindakaas, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Liborio is looking to escape.

Liborio has left one of his arms exposed and Silva doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Liborio screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
