Drago shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Patterson as he avoids it easily.
Patterson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Patterson throws a nice looking combination but Drago bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Drago drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Drago throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Patterson has his hands clasped together but Drago breaks the hold and Patterson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Drago!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shady feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dostojevskij looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shady is one step ahead there.
Shady has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
