Maldi has an Americana. Late didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Maldi is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Maldi hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The Motions seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A cross from Motions lands.
Motions connects with a crisp jab.
Akiyama throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A left and a right from Motions both land. Nice combination.
Akiyama works the jab nicely.
No joy there for Akiyama, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters circle momentarily. Motions darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Akiyama just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab-cross combination lands for Motions and sends Akiyama crashing to the mat! Motions follows him down to the mat - Akiyama regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Motions takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Motions lands a body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Akiyama, as that shot connected.
Motions stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Akiyama scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Motions counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Akiyama is breathing heavily.
Motions drops Akiyama with a beautiful combination! Akiyama stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Motions is looking for the KO!

Akiyama is rocked!
Motions throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Motions bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Akiyama's head.
Oh Akiyama is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Motions grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Akiyama takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Motions cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
