I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alex Rua was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua has a takedown stuffed.
Maia shoots in and drives through. Rua sprawls well.

Maia avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Rua has his foot on Maia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maia works his way back into a safe position though.
Rua looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maia is one step ahead there.
Maia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rua swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jenkins shoots for a takedown but Tyson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jenkins looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Andre Jenkins has been cut.
Jenkins takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jenkins thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tyson ducks under a wild hook from Jenkins.
Decent striking displayed by Tyson there.
Jenkins throws a hook to the side of Tyson's head but Tyson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jenkins takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Jenkins avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tyson lands with a big right hook that stumbles Jenkins - he's out on his feet here! Tyson follows up with another monster hook that separates Jenkins from consciousness! Jenkins falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Tyson stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

That was a close round but I would say that Spenser May will probably get the nod.
