Walker Davis had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nurray had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Diaz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nurray Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Diaz's back instead.

Diaz is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Nurray gets his way!

Mcpeeny shoots for a takedown but Hayes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A head kick by Mcpeeny - that's a beauty! Hayes is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Mcpeeny can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
