Carrey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Carrey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pee's guard.

Hitchcock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Adam moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Adam throws a one two combo.
Adam drops Hitchcock with a big left hand! Hitchcock is injured, injured bad! Adam jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Fabian lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fabian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.
Fabian lands a big shot that drops Gracie! Can he finish him?

It looks like Helio Gracie has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fabian arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Gracie's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Liddell thuds his right hand into Silva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Liddell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva looks for a takedown but Liddell sprawls well.
Liddell scores with a shot to the body.
Dan Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Liddell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A jab lands there for Liddell.
Liddell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Silva's calf.
Liddell stuns Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Liddell digs a good hook to Silva's body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Liddell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Liddell lands a nice hook to Silva's body. Silva takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Liddell! Silva is out on his feet! Liddell rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Silva is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Silva is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
