The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wells throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wells shoots for a double leg takedown but Lynch sprawls well. He's pushed Wells's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wells throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lynch.
Wells scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Lynch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is The Doors-Break on through. Party is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Final Countdown- Europe. Ted Party told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
