The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bond doesn't manage to clinch there - Hogan circles away.
Bond tries to clinch but Hogan is having none of it.
Hogan shoots for a double leg takedown but Bond sprawls well. He's pushed Hogan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hogan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bond as he jumps to the side.
Hogan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bond pinned against the cage. Bond gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Jam!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jam is looking to score with low kicks.

Jam closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Dougan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jam wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dougan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Dougan tries to roll over but Jam keeps him under control.
Dougan works his way to full guard. Good work.
Jam wants to control from the top but Dougan keeps moving.
Jam trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dougan's guard.
Jam tries to free his leg and advance position but Dougan is retaining full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jam seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dougan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dougan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dougan is squirming around, avoiding Jam's attempts to control the action.

Dougan is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jam looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Jam gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Jam lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Dougan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dougan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dougan is breathing heavily.

Dougan looking to control but Jam passes into half guard.
Dougan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jam wants to control from the top but Dougan keeps moving.
Jam wants to pass the guard but Dougan is keeping the position.

Dougan is looking for a triangle here but Jam uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Jam stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jam is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dougan.
Dougan has his takedown stuffed
and Jam counters with a two punch combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Dougan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jam moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Dougan is rocked!
Bob Jam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jam lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Oh Dougan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jam throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Dougan stumbling backwards into the cage! Dougan bounces back off the cage towards Jam, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Jam lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Jam celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bob Jam! Bob Jam retains his bantamweight title!
