The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Him changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Putznaya looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Putznaya is not content to let Him control the position.
Him really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Him has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
john Him seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putznaya misses with a few strikes there.

Him moves into the clinch successfully.

Him breaks from the clinch.
Him wants to clinch up but Putznaya keeps it at a distance.
Him lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Putznaya lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Him is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Him gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Him gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Him apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Him shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Putznaya but Putznaya pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Putznaya's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emmet Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar comes to the cage accompanied by Enae Volare Mezzo. Brown has chosen Back to the Future as his entrance music. Emmet Brown will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Lesnar anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Brown and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Lesnar slips an arm under Brown chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lesnar has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lesnar is squeezing on Brown like an anaconda would it's prey. Brown fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
