The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sodo is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Sodo bounces back off the ropes towards Compton, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Compton lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Compton celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

I think Byrne might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I'm Shipping Up To Boston. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Aria is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Aria shoots in looking for a takedown. Byrne tries to sprawl out of it but Aria keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Byrne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Kung Fu Fighting. Bennett has chosen Stronger, Kanye West as his entrance music. John Lee had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds.
