The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barreto shoots in but Nich avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nich looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Barreto tries to close the distance and clinch but Nich swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nich should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barreto.
Nich will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Meatballs closes the distance and clinches up with Ryan, looking for a takedown. Meatballs pushes Ryan against the cage but Ryan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kraven Meatballs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meatballs shoots in for a double leg but Ryan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ryan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ryan taps out! nice BJJ there by Meatballs!
