The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlos looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range.

Carlos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard.
Carlos stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Carlos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carlos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Teverdosky swats away the attempt to clinch by Wagstaff.
Teverdosky closes the distance and clinches up with Wagstaff, looking for a takedown. Teverdosky pushes Wagstaff against the cage but Wagstaff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wagstaff tries to close the distance and clinch up but Teverdosky swats him away and circles back towards the center.
