The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crank.
Crank shoots for a double leg takedown but Montgomery sprawls well. He's pushed Crank's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Crank seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Montgomery does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bass drops back, looking for a kneebar! Potter looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Potter looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Potter!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bass has eaten all the pies!

Bass is backing up but Potter catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Bass covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Potter Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

McMillian had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sera is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McMillian Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sera's back instead.
McMillian is trying to stick to Sera's back but Sera is turning into McMillian. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in McMillian's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sera.

Sera is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McMillian can't fight it off and eventually Sera manages to take the fight to the floor. McMillian looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well Sera has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
