Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hans Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Trap Door kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardstone tries to clinch but Griifin moves out of range.
Hardstone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Griifin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Griifin.
Hardstone misses with a combination

and Griifin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hardstone's guard.
Hardstone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hardstone throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Griifin drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Griifin seems to have locked his on tight now - Hardstone screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Griifin, as he picks up the win!
