The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kincaide connects with a good right hand that stumbles Magurt. Magurt circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Magurt looks to land a right hand but Kincaide moved out of range.

Magurt instigates a clinch.
Magurt lands with a light punch inside.
Magurt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kincaide tries to break the clinch but Magurt is controlling the position.
Magurt scores with a shoulder strike.
Magurt keeps control of Kincaide as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Magurt lands a hook that snaps the head of Kincaide backwards.

It looks like Ash Kincaide has been cut.
Kincaide blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Magurt has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kincaide is trying to keep an underhook but Magurt manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Magurt takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Magurt stops Kincaide from getting back to his feet.

Magurt creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kincaide's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kincaide drops to his knees and Magurt pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Lawton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jacob JROK has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Russell Lawton.

A punch combination from Lawton misses.
Lawton connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent JROK tumbling to the canvas! Lawton pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! JROK was done - good stoppage!

Travis shoots in looking for a takedown. Blankman tries to sprawl out of it but Travis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blankman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Arnie Blankman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Travis.
Blankman ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Blankman lands a high kick to the side of Travis's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Blankman dives into guard, looking to finish.

Rehill shoots for a takedown but Meier saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Meier misses with a wild combination.
Meier cracks Rehill with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rehill tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Meier pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rehill is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Kane throws a wild body kick that Goldman sees coming a mile off.
Kane showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Goldman.
Goldman avoids the head kick by Kane.
Kane throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Goldman counters with a single leg into guard. Kane didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kane striking off his back but it's not causing Goldman any problems.

Goldman stands up and waves to Kane to follow him.
Kane misses with a shot to the body

and Goldman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kane wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goldman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kane is just riding it out for now. Goldman eventually gives up the hold.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kane is not content to let Goldman control the position.

Goldman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kane defends it well.

Kane has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Goldman is working away from the top position though.
Kane is trying to get back to full guard.
Kane is trying to maintain the position but Goldman is very close to passing his half guard.

Goldman stands up from half guard.
Kane fails with the takedown

and Goldman counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Still in half guard, Goldman seems content to control.
Goldman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kane pushes Goldman off looking to stand but Goldman dives back in and keeps control.
Goldman trying to control from half guard but Kane is working away.

Kane misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Goldman is looking to advance position but Kane won't allow it.
Kane is not content to let Goldman control the position.

Kane is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Goldman has latched onto it... Big trouble! Goldman pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Kane is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Goldman!
