James might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Scott kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

James has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Scott can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

James is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Scott tries to bum rush James with a series of wild strikes but James uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wattson shoots for a takedown but Yeets saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Yeets scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Yeets lands a slapping body shot.
Yeets throws a front kick that sends Wattson stumbling back into the cage.
Yeets ducks under a wild hook from Wattson.

Wattson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Yeets lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wattson backs up against the cage.

It looks like Ron Wattson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wattson throws a lazy right hand but Yeets sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wattson misses with an uppercut.
Wattson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yeets pinned against the cage. Yeets gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Yeets counters with a nice leg kick.
Wattson is breathing heavily.

and Yeets counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Wattson!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ron Wattson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yeets is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Wattson is hurt! He's hurt bad - Yeets fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Wattson from any more punishment! Congratulations to Yeets! Great finish!
