Nieminen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Llorente looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nieminen throws a head kick but Llorente moves out of range.
Nieminen fails to land the takedown.
Nieminen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nieminen drops Llorente with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Llorente looks back up at him and smiles so Nieminen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Nieminen lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Llorente crumples to the floor! Nieminen milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Sakura has closed the distance and engaged Shmoe in a clinch.

Sakura tries to pull guard but Shmoe won't allow it.

Shmoe had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sakura is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Shmoe Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sakura's back instead.
Shmoe has the hooks in. Sakura is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Shmoe looking to break Sakura's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Sakura remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Shmoe will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Conway shoots for a takedown but Jarryd saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Anders Jarryd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Susi circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson tries to clinch up but Susi circles away and keeps his distance.
Susi keeps the fight on the outside.
Susi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jackson works Susi's body with a nice hook.
Susi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Susi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
