Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Algernon Mustard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggins closes the distance and clinches up with Mustard, looking for a takedown. Biggins pushes Mustard against the cage but Mustard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mustard drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Biggins had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mustard is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Biggins Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mustard's back instead.

Mustard defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
Mustard is looking to stand up but Biggins won't let him.

Mustard is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Biggins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mustard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mustard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mustard seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Biggins for as long as he can get away with.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
