No luck for usa with that takedown attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McManus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Diol swivels and escapes.
McManus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Diol paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McManus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diol manages to avoid it.

Diol bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Diol passes to full mount! That's big trouble for McManus!
Diol cracks McManus with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Diol lands a big shot there that rocks McManus but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

You get the feeling that McManus really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Diol really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
