The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pharyngioma swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pharyngioma really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Man looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Man trying to control but Pharyngioma is working from the bottom.

Pharyngioma is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Pharyngioma had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Man is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pharyngioma Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Man's back instead.
Man is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man wants to control his opponent's hands but Pharyngioma gets his hands free.
Pharyngioma is trying to stick to Man's back but Man is turning into Pharyngioma. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Pharyngioma's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Man.

Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pharyngioma swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Man is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Pharyngioma throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Pharyngioma looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pharyngioma trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Pharyngioma will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Man stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Man closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Pharyngioma is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Man's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Man's back!

Gambino is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gambino wants to stand but Lukas is controlling the position.

Gambino tries to clinch up but Lukas circles away and keeps his distance.
Gambino shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lukas pinned against the cage. Lukas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gambino shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lukas but Lukas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gambino throws a head kick but Lukas moves out of range.

Lukas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gambino looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
