Michaels can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hayes controls the pace.

Michaels lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Michaels seems to have recovered his senses.

Hayes stands up from Michaels's guard - Hayes perhaps looking for a knockout.
Hayes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hayes looks to land a combination but Michaels avoids it well.
Michaels tries to clinch but Hayes moves out of range.
Michaels should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Michaels buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Michaels moves into the clinch successfully.
Michaels drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hayes gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Michaels breaks from the clinch.
Michaels looks gassed!
Hayes misses with a few strikes there.
Michaels throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hayes's waist but Hayes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Michaels off to one side.
Michaels tries to move into range but Hayes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hayes.
BOOM! Hayes lands a beautiful left hook that drops Michaels. Michaels tries to recover but Hayes is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Michaels lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
