Boii tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Floro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Well Floro has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Black kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Beastie Boys - Intergalactic. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Black or perhaps it was just good defense by Sberg which made him look bad.

Sberg decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sberg moves nicely into side control.
Sberg throws an elbow but Black slips to the side and avoids it well.
Black tries to bench press Sberg off him but Sberg keeps the position.
Sberg trying to control the position but Black is working away.
Black is trying to improve his position.
Black manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Black is working for a submission of some sort.
Sberg moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Sberg is trying to escape the mount but Black keeps good control and instead manages to take Sberg's back.

Sberg is trying to shake Black off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Black won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.

Sberg slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Black is looking for a triangle but Sberg pushes his legs off easily.
Sberg is stalling in the full guard.

Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sberg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sberg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sberg decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sberg wants to take a breather but Black is having none of it.
Sberg looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Sberg wants to work for an arm triangle but Black is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Black escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sberg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A close round but Carl Sberg will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sberg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working.

and Sberg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Black's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Black has his foot on Sberg's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sberg works his way back into a safe position though.

Carl Sberg has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Black is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sberg throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Black's body to avoid the submission. Black has instead reached around Sberg's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Black arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
