The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux tries to clinch up.

A head kick lands from Dux that sends Bass to the canvas. Bass tries to scramble back to his feet but Dux brings him back down into side control.

Rowler jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hideki is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hideki and Rowler has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Hideki pushes Rowler away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rowler gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

Manupbr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chu.
Chu slips a straight right by Manupbr.
Manupbr throws a shot to the body.
Manupbr misses with a straight left.
Manupbr waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Chu. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Chu to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Fu Chu has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Chu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Manupbr avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Manupbr wants to stand but Chu has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Chu throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Chu has his foot on Manupbr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manupbr works his way back into a safe position though.

Manupbr connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Chu is rocked!
Manupbr comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Chu is breathing heavily.
Manupbr misses the shot to the body.
Chu dodges the punch combination from Manupbr.
Manupbr catches Chu napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Chu to the canvas!
Oh Chu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Manupbr stands up from Chu's guard - Manupbr perhaps looking for a knockout.
Chu seems to have got his legs back now.
Manupbr drops Chu with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Chu looks back up at him and smiles so Manupbr waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Manupbr is fending him off so far but Chu persists. Nope, Manupbr circles away and we're back to standing.
A slow jab from Manupbr misses its intended target.
Manupbr's corner calls for a 1-2. Manupbr obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Manupbr scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chu doesn't seem bothered though.
Manupbr digs a good body shot into Chu's ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Manupbr darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Chu's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Manupbr before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
