Steven Weis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Erdei jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Weis is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Weis and Erdei has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Erdei thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Weis to regain full guard.
Weis seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Weis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Erdei is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Weis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Erdei's back instead.
Erdei breaks Weis's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Weis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Erdei is one step ahead there.
