And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Usagi stuffs the takedown attempt from AOKI. AOKI gets slowly back to his feet.
Usagi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
AOKI fails with a takedown attempt.
Usagi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Usagi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

AOKI tries for a takedown but Usagi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

A big head kick from Usagi and AOKI is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like SHINYA AOKI has been cut.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todorov motions for Lupaus to come forward. Todorov throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Todorov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Todorov misses with a two punch combination.
Todorov fails with the takedown.

Lupaus clinches.
Lupaus pushes Todorov back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Todorov looks gassed!
Lupaus throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A right hook to the body lands for Lupaus.

Lupaus turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lupaus manages to end up in side control.
Lupaus wants to control but Todorov is keeping him busy.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tamil Figg Hoblyn was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
