Conway closes the distance and clinches.
Longoria II avoids the elbow strike from Conway, against the cage.
Conway with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Conway is pressed up against the cage. Longoria II has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Conway down to the mat. Conway avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Conway lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Longoria II sprawling to the canvas. Conway follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Longoria II hang on?

It looks like Evan Longoria II has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Conway connects with a nice short shot to Longoria II's temple.
Conway is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Conway has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
