The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with White but White pushes him off and we're back to square one.

White scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
White winds up and cracks Richards with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
White is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Richards reverses the position - he's now on top in White's guard.
White looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Richards puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
White trying to get back to full guard but Richards takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Richards thowing shots but they're missing.
Richards cracks White with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
White is trying to escape the mount.

White sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
White slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
White looking for a sweep. Not yet White, not yet.
Richards looking to sit in guard and control but White gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
White throws and elbow that misses. Richards uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in White's guard. Nice move by Richards!
White keeping moving, preventing Richards from controlling successfully.

Richards is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because White is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth.
Richards in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Richards stops White from standing up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now White is on top in guard.
White wants to get up but he can't break Richards's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richards tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richards to the ground. Richards escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Richards cracks White with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! White looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Richards finish him?

White is rocked!

It looks like Jay White has been cut.
Richards feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending White crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Padilla cracks Dungy with an uppercut from hell and Dungy crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Padilla's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
