Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between willie maykit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Olof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olof is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I am a poor lonesome cowboy. John Olof told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Olof uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
maykit tries to keep at a distance but Olof has taken the fight into the clinch.
Olof pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Olof misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
maykit clobbers Olof with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Wenger.
Wenger misses with a body shot.
Dudu moves out of range as Wenger strikes.
A swing and a miss from Wenger.
Wenger throws a leg kick but Dudu checks it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dudu listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Dudu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wenger misses with a low kick.
Dudu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wenger.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dudu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wenger creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dudu sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Dudu wants to control but Wenger postures up.
Wenger tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Wenger wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dudu, who protects the arm well.
Dudu gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dudu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wenger!
Poor strikes thrown by Dudu there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Wenger is desperately trying to improve his position but Dudu has a good base and remains in mount.
Wenger holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Dudu tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Wenger manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Wenger tries to roll over but Dudu keeps him under control.
Wenger avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dudu.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wenger makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wenger.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wenger is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dudu wants to improve his position but Wenger is controlling well.
Wenger is just content to waste time from the top position. Dudu takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Wenger is looking to work some ground and pound but Dudu has wrist control.
Wenger postures up in Dudu's guard and throws a big left but Dudu blocks it.
Dudu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dudu is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Wenger rolls with it to try and escape but Dudu cranks on the arm and Wenger is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
