Pandiani stumbles backwards against the cage. Drake steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Pandiani's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Pandiani just didn't come prepared.

Sam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chong as he avoids it easily.
Chong moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Chong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sam.
No joy there for Chong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sam shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chong pinned against the cage. Chong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sam.
Jason Chong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bad Sam.
Chong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sam paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Chong throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Sam shoots in and bounces Chong off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sam drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chong manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sam has Chong in his guard.

Sam has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chong is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sam.
Sam looks to move to half guard but instead Chong has passed into mount! Damn!
Sam sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
