Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodgers's entrance music is Right Now - Korn. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Vasquez's choice of entrance music: Careless Whisper. James Rodgers had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Taka Tanaka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyagi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Graves at a distance.
Good work by Graves as he checks the leg kick.
Graves throws a head kick that misses.
Miyagi misses with a jab, cross combination.
A head kick from Graves lands but Miyagi takes it in his stride.

It looks like Daisu Miyagi has been cut.
Miyagi swings for the body but Graves moves out of range.

Miyagi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Miyagi throws a lazy head kick
and Graves counters with a straight right hand.
Graves tries to close the distance and clinch up but Miyagi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fighters circle, before Graves throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Miyagi's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Graves lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
